As a passionate educator and creative facilitator, I believe in the transformative power of combining art and literacy to foster deeper learning, self-expression, and confidence in students of all ages. Through engaging, hands-on experiences, I create opportunities for learners to explore language through a visual lens—whether it's bringing a story to life with paint, crafting characters through collage, or using poetry as inspiration for mixed-media projects.

Art makes literacy more accessible, especially for visual and kinesthetic learners. It encourages students to interpret, imagine, and communicate in multiple modes, strengthening comprehension and critical thinking. At the same time, literacy gives students the tools to articulate their creative ideas, tell their stories, and build meaningful connections with the world around them.

My mission is to nurture creativity while building strong communication skills—empowering young minds to express themselves with both words and wonder.
